How often do your young athletes stretch at the end of a practice session or game?  If you’re like most sport coaches this often gets neglected, yet the benefits of doing so are significant.

For example introducing “static” stretching at the end of a practice session or game can help with:

  • muscle recovery to alleviate delayed on-set soreness
  • increased range of motion for improved movement qualities
  • improved flexibility for injury prevention

Allocating just 5 to 10 minutes of post stretching can help to keep our young athletes healthy and mobile so why not build this into your program today.
